I'm Rylee, but you can call me Smylee. 

I am a licensed cosmetologist and mixed media artist exploring new ways to express emotion through style, beauty, and art.

I believe expression is the most beautiful form of art. In creating styles that make people smile, my passion is to help support that goal of striving to bring smiles through my work. 

I am a self-taught artist and jewelry maker. I have had years of experience with body art and makeup under the guidance of amazing mentors. I graduated the Cosmetology program at CSA in Schaumburg, IL, and continue to use the knowledge and education I received to this day in every aspect of my work. 

I showcase my art and jewelry in places like coffee shops, craft shows, and community events. I have created custom tattoo designs for clients, handmade home and wedding decor, and murals for small businesses. 

My inspiration comes from my young childhood, where my grandma and sister and I would spend hours making crafts. I used the passion for creation to get out of dark places and bad environments in my later adolescent years. Now, I crave to inspire others to use art as expression and for therapeutic purposes.
